1860’s Bathing Costume

So I think I actually made this outfit almost three years ago……I may have taken one photo of it then. I’m fixing that! I felt that this outfit needed to have some nice photos taken now that it’s summer!

Full view of the two piece wool bathing costume. It is trimmed with Rick rack. This would not have been seen in a full size humans costume but only in doll sized garments.
Here is the plaid cape with hood. This is made from a cotton pique type fabric. Many times these outfits had multiple layers to protect the wearer from the elements.
